PERSONAL SOFTWARE. OPEN POSSIBILITIES.

EXOMINA 0.7.0

Your ideas deservemore than a chat.

Describe the software you wish existed. Build it through conversation. Exomina brings your AI, memory and tools together so you can start simply, try the result and keep shaping it.

Say what you want.
Then make it more you.

Eight possible projects. Try a follow-up to see each one change.

Interactive concepts

Writing studio

FieldnotesExample conversation
↗

Make me a writing studio where chapters, character notes and research live together. I want to find anything without losing the scene I’m writing.

Exomina

I’ll put the chapter list beside a quiet editor, with your research one click away. Then we can shape it around how you actually write.

Create the library and editorConnect notes to chaptersCheck saving and reopening

Keep shaping it

Add a timeline so I can see where the chapters overlap.

The same project now has a chapter timeline. You can see the overlap between the opening scene and the station chapter.

A chapter timeline replaces the editor view, showing overlapping scenes.

Game companion

WayfinderExample conversation
↗

Build a little companion for my open-world game. Keep my quests, discoveries and things I want to visit on one map, without spoiling anything.

Exomina

I’ll make a map with your own pins and a short quest list. Your notes stay separate from any game files.

Build the map and pin libraryLink quests to your notesKeep the game files untouched

Keep shaping it

Plan a route through the places I’ve pinned.

Your map now connects the three pinned stops, and the quest list becomes a route you can follow.

A route now joins the three map pins, with an ordered stop list.

Campaign command

LanternExample conversation
↗

Build a command centre for my tabletop campaign. Keep characters, places, session notes and all those secrets together so I can improvise without losing the plot.

Exomina

I’ll make a campaign desk with character cards, a session plan and the notes you need in the moment. Your players only see what you choose to share.

Keep shaping it

Show which characters are keeping secrets from each other.

The character cards now reveal the hidden connections, with a game-master-only secret below each one.

Freelance cockpit

AfterhoursExample conversation
↗

Build a freelance cockpit for my projects, invoices and next steps. Keep it simple enough that I’ll actually use it on a busy Monday.

Exomina

I’ll bring the active projects and invoices together, with one obvious next action for each client.

Build the client and project viewAdd invoices and next actionsCheck the workflow with sample data

Keep shaping it

Bring overdue invoices to the front and show the total.

The cockpit now opens with overdue invoices, their combined total and the next follow-up for each client.

An overdue-invoice queue and an outstanding total replace the project overview.

Music practice

LooproomExample conversation
↗

Make a practice app for the songs I’m learning. Give me a simple session plan, a tempo and somewhere to note the bits I keep getting wrong.

Exomina

I’ll give you a focused practice session with tempo, sections and notes. We can make the difficult bits easier to repeat.

Loop bars 9 to 12 and slow that section down.

The practice view now isolates bars 9 to 12 at a slower tempo, with the rest of the song kept in context.

Bars 9 to 12 are isolated as a loop and the tempo drops from 84 to 60 BPM.

Knowledge explorer

CommonplaceExample conversation
↗

Turn my notes and saved articles into something I can explore. I want to see connections between ideas, and still get back to the original source.

Exomina

I’ll build a small knowledge map around your topics, with the source attached to every note.

Organise notes around topicsBuild a map of connectionsKeep a link to each source

Keep shaping it

Show how my notes about cities connect to ecology.

The map now highlights that path, with a bridge note explaining the connection between cities and ecology.

The cities-to-ecology path is highlighted and an explanatory bridge note appears.

Trip planner

DetourExample conversation
↗

Build a trip planner with a map, a day-by-day plan and my booking notes. I want time to wander, not an itinerary that feels like a military operation.

Exomina

I’ll give each day a light plan, keep the bookings nearby and leave room between the stops.

Keep shaping it

It’s raining on day two. Make that an indoor day.

A peculiar game

Small MoonExample conversation
↗

Make me a tiny game about collecting lost stars on a very small moon. A little strange, a little peaceful, and easy to play for five minutes.

Exomina

I’ll make a small moon scene with a character, a few stars and a simple jump. Then we can decide how strange its gravity should be.

Build the moon and characterAdd a simple jump and star fieldKeep the controls small and clear

Keep shaping it

Make the gravity delightfully low, with a longer jump.

The scene now has a lower-gravity jump, a wider arc and more space to drift between stars. Try the jump below.

Low-gravity mode adds a longer visible jump arc. The jump control now floats farther.

Interactive software concepts, not live AI. Try the follow-up to change the preview. Real projects require implementation, testing and the access you choose.

Your choice of AI. One place to work.

Connect your own eligible account, API or local model server. Setup, capabilities, charges and usage limits depend on the provider.

BUILT FOR THE WORK AFTER THE FIRST ANSWER

Keep the thread.
Change what is possible.

Good work takes more than a prompt. It takes context that lasts, tools that reach the project and a clear view of what actually happened.

01

Keep the conversation.
Change the AI.

Choose another connected model inside the same chat. Your conversation, project files and recorded progress stay together, so a provider limit does not have to end the project.

Provider-private sessions and hidden runtime state do not transfer.

Memory with
a way back.

Long conversations have source-linked summaries. When a detail matters, the original dated message is still there. Optional shared memory carries useful decisions between chats and remains yours to review.

Memory depends on what is recorded and shared. You can correct or delete it.

What did we decide about exports?

CSV first. JSON when the integration needs it.

START WITH SOMETHING THAT MATTERS TO YOU

An audience of one
is a good enough reason.

The tool nobody sells. The five subscriptions that ought to be one. The missing feature that keeps getting in your way.

01

Make your own software

A writing studio. A research library. A dashboard for a very particular life. Build in useful stages, try it, then change it.

Your idea → Your working tool
02

Replace a workflow

Bring clients, quotes and follow-ups into one system shaped around your process. Keep the code and choose the integrations you still need.

Your process → Your software
03

Improve what exists

Inspect an app and explore an extension, integration or companion tool. Investigate first, find a feasible route, then check the result.

A missing feature → A practical route

You can explore game mods too. What is possible depends on the software, available access and tools. Larger projects still need testing, backups and maintenance; hosting and external services may cost money.

Availability varies by platform, provider and connection. Scheduled work and remote connections need your desktop online and Exomina running. Native app analysis is experimental, limited to supported Windows x86/x64 EXEs and requires Ghidra and a full JDK.

YOUR WORK. YOUR CHOICES.

Local library.
Deliberate sharing.

Your chat library is stored on your computer. Using a cloud AI sends the prompts and context you share, including relevant memory, attachments and tool results, to that provider. Local storage does not make cloud processing local.

THE PUBLIC BETA

A workspace for
your next “what if”.

Exomina 0.7.0 is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. Free and open source; your AI access is separate.

Installer build0.7.0

This is beta software. Windows builds are unsigned; Mac builds are not notarized. Your system may warn on first launch. Updates in this public release are manual. Keep backups of important work.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Before you
make yourself at home.

What does “free” include?

Exomina itself is free and open source under Apache-2.0. Your provider subscriptions, API charges, hosting and other external services are separate. Exomina does not include AI credits or unlimited model access.

Which AI connections can I use?

Supported connections include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and local model servers. Some use your eligible subscription; others use separately billed APIs. Certain connections need an official client installed. Check the installation guide for current requirements.

Can I start without importing my old chats?

Yes. Connect an AI and begin with an empty library. Importing previous conversations and memories is optional.

Can it really build an app or replace a SaaS workflow?

It can work with files, code, terminals and available tools to help build and test software. Scope matters: integrations, data migration, security, hosting and ongoing maintenance still need attention. Treat the result as a project to verify, rather than a guaranteed one-prompt replacement.

Does every feature work on every platform?

The desktop app has Windows, macOS and Debian/Ubuntu downloads. Voice, media, remote access and analysis features have their own platform, account and setup requirements. Consult the public release notes for what was checked and what remains unverified.

How do I report a problem or contribute?

Use the GitHub repository to report an issue, suggest a feature or contribute code. Include your app version, operating system and steps to reproduce. Review an update’s release notes and back up your library before installing.

OPEN SOURCE / INDEPENDENT

Independent software.
Open-ended possibilities.

Read the code. Make a suggestion. Build on it. Exomina is a small, independent open-source project, and useful contributions can move it forward.
